Enrollment Deadline
We encourage you to enroll no later than August 1st so that we can be prepared for your children in September. However, many of our classes do fill early and have a waiting list.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. When do classes start this year?
Classes typically start in mid-September and run through late April. We will send out a calendar to enrolled families in August so you know what dates we are in session.
2. I just found out about CGS and Casa Dei Bambini. Can I sign my child(ren) up to start now or do they have to wait until next year?
Please fill out the enrollment form above and send an email. Some sessions may be full, so we can’t guarantee a spot.
3. I have a child that will turn 3 during the school year. Can they come all year? Can they start once they turn 3?
3 year olds need to be 3 as of our start date in the fall and fully potty trained.
4. I have a child that is the age for Level 2 or Level 3, but they have never been in the atrium before. Do they need to start in Level 1?
No, we will place your child with the correct age group. The material presented in each level is intended for a particular level of development to meet their needs without leaving anything behind. Please make a note on your enrollment form that they are new to CGS, and the catechist may give them some additional
5. Do you require a parent to volunteer in order to enroll a child?
No, we do not have any requirement for volunteering. We do have opportunities for volunteering throughout the year, and we always welcome more hands.
6. Do you require a parent to stay at the atrium while classes are in session? Can I stay if I want to?
We do not require parents to stay during the classes. We prefer that parents do not stay, partly because our space is limited and partly to help maintain an environment that is focused on the needs of the children. If you have a particular concern about a child, please contact us.
6. My child has special needs. Will you serve them in your atrium?
Yes! We are committed to serving the needs of all children. We encourage you to contact us about your specific situation so that we can determine the best way for your child to participate in the atrium.
7. My child is preparing for sacraments this year. Do you provide sacramental preparation?
Yes, please visit our Sacramental Preparation page for more information.
